Koch Clarifiers.
Koch manufactures two standard Clarifiers. The first is a 30 gpm one pack system and the second is a 60 gpm two pack system. The Koch Inclined Plate Clarifier is designed for use with polymer flocculation technology, with a maximum settling surface area in a minimum footprint. Made from 1/4" thick carbon steel and coated with a coal tar epoxy lining on the interior the units are complete with a separate flocculation chamber and a cone bottom settling hopper. The inclined plates are fiberglass-reinforced polyester.
Clarifiers come with a low speed electric mixer with stainless steel shaft and propellers installed in the flocculation chamber.
Solids (or sludge) settle in the bottom of the clarifier, while the effluent from the top of the clarifier will continuously overflow.
